Today in celebration of Veteran's Day our preschoolers and gradeschoolers decorated a "Thank You" banner for the veteran's. We had a small group of 8 gradeschoolers hand deliver the banner to the Veteran's Community Center at the VA Hospital. The children talked to several veteran's who shared stories and experiences while fighting for our freedom. The children all agreed they have discovered a new found respect for all the freedoms they enjoy on a daily basis thanks to the many past and present vets. |
